Hi, I am Amisha (she/her)!

I am located in Houston, Texas, and have been in the fitness industry for over 12 years but it wasn’t until I had my daughter that I realized all of the gaps that exist in the industry for women but especially, for mothers.

This is exactly why I have dedicated so much time and energy to learning how to best support women through major life transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, and, perimenopause.  So many women experience pelvic floor dysfunction during exercise however,  there is a lack of collective knowledge on how to support folks who are navigating symptoms such as diastasis recti, prolapse, and incontinence.  If you are experiencing any of these listed, you are not alone AND you can continue to train, I am here to help you.

I believe resistance training is one of the best things we as humans can do for our overall health and wellness and it is for everyBODY

What if I have to miss a session?

As long as you let me know 24 hours in advance, we can reschedule.  Under 24 hours, you loose the session.

I understand sickness/emergencies happen, so this policy is case by case

All exercise programs are specific to you and all exercises have multiple variations available to meet you exactly where you are.

If you have injuries, chronic conditions, or are recently post-partum, you should obtain clearance from a medical provider before starting any exercise program.

This is up to you! We can do anywhere from 1-3 sessions/ week

I do my best to not cancel sessions but sometimes life does happen.

If I have to cancel a session, I will communicate it via your preferred method of communication and reschedule based on your availability

  • A water bottle
  • Wear loose-fitting clothes that are comfortable for exercise
  • Tennis shoes that feel good to lift in, I prefer more flat/minimalist  (any athletic tennis shoes will work)

Yes! There is evidence to show that participating in a resistance training program during the menopause transition is important for maintaining muscle and bone density.

You are in the right spot!  My training prioritizes pelvic health.

With each exercise, I will give cues for minimizing pelvic floor symptoms
